Monday, Oct. 16, started off the Homecoming spirit week with Club Penguin Day, where students came to school in their favorite pajamas. ASB organized this week, with the daily theme corresponding to the overall Homecoming theme of “video games.” The first day of the event proved successful, with most students decked out in their best pajamas.

As Homecoming approaches on Friday, Oct. 21, school spirit is roused with the exciting outfits and activities. Students look forward to wearing fun attire to school and participating in activities during lunch. For the first day, outfits consisted of  a variety of pajama pants, sweatpants, and even a few onesies.

“It’s fun to wear pajamas to school because it brings me back to elementary school when we had pajama days,” said freshman Leo Berberich.

During lunch, ASB organized a dodgeball game, or snowball fight, inviting everyone to pick a side and participate in a fun game. The turnout was great, as students both watched and participated. Freshman Jay Pikkararainen Klein enjoyed taking part in the dodgeball game.

“It was great to see all the student age groups playing dodgeball together and having a good time,” Jay said.

With a week of spirit ahead, students look forward to the first dance of the school year.
