Falcons’ girls varsity volleyball falls to Marin Academy in home opener

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Archie Williams girls varsity volleyball fought against the Marin Academy Wildcats in their first home game of the season. Archie Williams soars to victory in season opener

On Saturday, August 31, the Archie Williams varsity football team kicked off the season in a game against the John F. Kennedy High School Eagles on the Archie Williams home turf. The Falcons recently switched into the Redwood Empire Mountain League (REML) and started their season off on the right note by winning their game 41-14.



Falcons girls tennis stuns Novato Hornets

On Thursday, Aug. 29, Archie Williams girls varsity tennis (0-1) hosted Novato High School at the Cañon Club tennis courts for their second matchup of the season. Aiming to bounce back after a 0-7 loss against Branson, the Falcons executed a sweep against the Hornets, winning all four of their singles matches and all three doubles matches.

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, the Archie Williams girls varsity field hockey team (0-1) fought tooth and claw against the Marin Academy Wildcats. The teams battled at the Falcons’ home turf for their second game of the season. The Falcons suffered a tough 2-0 loss in the end following a long defensive battle down to the last second.
