Spirit Week Day One: Breakfast Club Day
Monday, April 24, kicked off the beginning of Archie Williams’ Prom Spirit Week. For Monday’s theme, Breakfast Club Day, ASB encouraged students to dress up in their breakfast pajamas, evoking a fun and festive school atmosphere.
Drawing inspiration from this weekend’s Prom theme “A Night at the Oscars”, every spirit day this week will incorporate themes from popular hit movies.
Before school started, ASB provided complimentary doughnuts and hot chocolates to students arriving for class.
“The doughnuts were really good,” said sophomore Ariana Wong. “I got a glazed doughnut, and it was a really enjoyable experience.”
Encouraged to dress up in their breakfast-wear, most students wore their pajamas. Displays of flannels and slippers decorated the halls, along with the debut of Archie Williams’ very own Oscars Red Carpet lining the main corridor. Sophomore Neve Galmarini enjoyed seeing her peers show off their school spirit.
“I’m wearing my pajamas and I’m seeing a lot of people stepping up and wearing theirs,” Neve said.
After walking the red carpet in their comfort gear, Archie Williams students are teed up for their next spirit day theme, Happy Gilmore.
