Spirit week day five brings coastal energy to AWHS
Friday, Oct. 7 closed out the second Spirit Week of the 2022-2023 school year with a trip to the tropics for Beach Day. Students arrived on campus decked out in beachwear and tourist shirts.
At the Homecoming rally during fourth period, the fall sports teams made a splash with their high-energy performances. With competitions and chants from the leadership groups Peer Resource (PR) and Associated Student Body (ASB), and the AWHS dance troupe closing out with a strong dance number, the rally was a success in bringing out school spirit before the big homecoming night.
