The ultimate prom playlist
With all due respect to the organizers and the DJ, let’s be honest: in the past, our school dance music has been… less than adequate. The songs at recent dances have felt too familiar to middle school dances, and no one wants to revisit those. But don’t fear, we’re here to put together the perfect playlist for our next and best dance, Prom 2023. Following is our list (in order) of what we believe to be an amazing Prom playlist. We’ve included something for everyone, some country, some rap, some oldies, and some pop. We’ve got hype songs, slow songs, and scream-it-at-the-top-of-your-lungs songs. Enjoy!

You are setting these kids up to be damaged. You include music that has the forbidden N word – essentially mainstreaming this word, and when they repeat it in society they get expelled from school & lose their scholarships. Please keep the kids top of mind – teenagers with undeveloped brains – as you sell whatever it is you’re selling. We reap what we sow.
